This page explains what happens when a Towing.com Member Website goes inactive.

What is a Towing.com Member Websites?

A member website is a secure, fully functioning website where the content is provided through Towing.com's company dashboard.

It allows towing companies to have a website that they control allowing them to tow more and worry less about internet things.

Member websites are available through Towing.com for $40/month and they are included in Gold Supporting Membership.

Why is it inactive?

Sometimes Member Websites go inactive temporarily while payments are updated or account maintenance is happening.

If a company needs to update payment information or they change from gold support the website will show as inactive.  Once payment is updated the inactive message is removed.

If a website is inactive for more than 30 days then the domain name may be allowed to expire. A towing company advocate will have attempted to reach the company several times before this is allowed to happen.

Transferring the Domain

If Towing.com registered the domain name then it can be transferred to new registrar at any point up to 14 days prior to expiration and deletion.  There is a $99 transfer fee for us to go through this manual process.
